Traffic was backed up on both directions of the 605 freeway near Beverly Boulevard on March 26, 2012 as California Highway Patrol officers and firefighters worked to clear a two-car injury accident on the southbound center divider. Traffic was slowed past Whittier Boulevard on the northbound side as drivers slowed to observe the accident.
